2006 Chevrolet Impala LT review from North America
"Great american family sedan"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
32000 miles: Heat cold at idle, fixed by flushing coolant system.
40000 miles: Tire pressure monitoring system failed on front right tire.
50000 miles: Heat cold at idle again, fixed by filling coolant reservoir.
55000 miles: Water pump leaking and had to be replaced.
60000 miles: Rear window defroster stopped working.
General comments?
Great car despite several problems above. Nothing really major. Get the remote start, it's great. Got to love the 3.9L engine, wouldn't want anything else, has the roar of a Corvette. Ride is not as smooth as a Buick, but still pretty nice. Seats could use a little more cushioning in the front. Mirrors definately need to be larger.
I still love the car and would buy another one and probably will.
