2006 Chevrolet Impala sedan review from North America
"I will get rid of this car as quickly as possible"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
There is a vibration felt through the seat when driving, particularly felt at speeds 60-80km. This is compounded every time some dirt deposits or drifting snow gets on the wheels. Dealer advises that there is nothing wrong, but anyone who sits in the car can feel it.
Already had one recall for aspect of power steering.
Ticking in the motor, particularly noticeable at idle speed.
General comments?
Restricted vision to the rear because of small rear windshield, large posts between the windshield and rear side windows, and rear end tip-up all combine to make back up dangerous.
Rear view mirrors too small for adequate vision.
Sun visors too small and the cut-out section near the side of windshield creates vision problem when driving in bright sunlight. I have filled in these spaces with pieces of cardboard.
