1994 Chevrolet Lumina Euro review from North America

What things have gone wrong with the car?
The brake system on this car is awful. ABS with 4 wheel disc brakes. The rear brakes sound like brake shoes scrubbing when you stop. Replaced all four with new pads, turned rotors, same problem.
The other chronic problem is the electrical system. I've replaced the alternator twice in a year(Although this could be a bad alternator mfg). The voltage meter is eratic and the temp gauge just went out. The power windows blow the ciruit breaker within minutes and affects the entire electrical system. I keep the breaker out and don't use the windows.
General comments?
The motor has been excellent (3.1 V6). Steering feels great. Holds the road good. The great peformance helps balance the poor design and workmanship in the other areas of the car.
