1990 Chevrolet Lumina review from North America
"I would buy another one in a heart beat"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The things that I had to replace was the lockup converter relay around 85000 miles. The cost was around $140.00 including new transmission fluid. The alternator around 110000 miles. The water pump around 175000. I had to replace all of the calibers and brakes. I've had other things done like tune up and replacing the exhaust the normal wear and tear.
General comments?
I love the car it car has been very good to me. The only thing wrong with it right now is the air conditioner stopped working and the back suspention has a sqeak in it. It is a good high way car handles good for an older car. I change the oil every 3 thousand miles it might use about a quart in between oil changes. The thing I noticed about this car if you have to change the battery don't have the battery cables off long the computer has troubles and the car spits and sputters for a day or two then it runs fine. I've changed the battery 2 times in it.
