1992 Chevrolet Lumina 3.1 review from North America
"Decent Transportation"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
O2 Sensor
Crank Sensor
Brake rotors and calipers
head gasket blew at 198000.
General comments?
Bought this car in 2001 with 105000 miles on it for only 600$. Immediately changed spark plugs, O2 sensor, crank sensor, and brake pads, rotors and calipers. Beyond that have had no problems outside routine oil and filter changes. She finally blew the head gasket just shy of the 200,000 mile mark in Oct 06. Pros of this car were the comfy seating, acceptable passing power, and the winter driving. Cons included the grandma car comments and not great gas mileage. All in all I'd say I got my $600 worth.
