2003 Chevrolet Malibu LS review from North America
"Not reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
- Fuel gauge sensor fixed under warranty.
- Fan blower switch fixed under warranty.
- Front brakes and rotors done at 37,000 miles, and they are already going out again (at 51,000 miles)
- Front passenger side wheel bearing at 49,000 miles.
- Front driver side wheel bearing at 51,000 miles.
- Front driver side strut and strut mount at 51,000 miles.
- Theft warning light randomly goes on and off.
General comments?
Interior feels flimsy. Seats aren't very comfortable.
Purchased price was low, but repair costs have been ridiculous.
Good highway mileage, poor city mileage.
Good acceleration.
Overall a piece of junk that I wish I didn't own.
The last GM vehicle I will buy.
