2001 Chevrolet Malibu review from North America
"Other than the new engine at 65,000 miles, it's been a pretty good car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Antifreeze leak at 35,000 miles.
New engine at 65,000 miles.
New brakes approximately every 15,000 miles since I bought it.
Rust in the paint under the gas cap since about 80,000 miles.
New serpentine belt at 115,000 miles.
New fuel pump at 117,500 miles.
General comments?
Outside of the engine replacement, I have been happy with this car. At over 100,000 miles, I should expect things to start going wrong with the car.
