2004 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx review from North America
"No problems"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Nothing has gone wrong, except for the brakes which have worn out unevenly.
General comments?
It's a fabulous car. Driving this car was like driving a rocket.
It had leather seats, which made it so comfortable on long trips. Cloth is nowhere comfortable.
I bought it fully loaded brand new for $30,000, and got a $15,000 trade in value when we bought the 2008 Cadillac CTS.
The CTS is based on the new 2008 Malibu as well. It has the same 3.6 engine and same transmission. We test drove the new Malibu before the CTS and it drives just the same. So it is just like driving an expensive brand new Malibu, but with bigger wheels.
