2001 Chevrolet Malibu review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have owned this 2001 Malibu for 1 year now. In which time, too many things to list have needed repair. The most annoying is the noise from the struts, piston's and rod's, which are being replaced.
It is costly to insure, about $1400.00 Canadian.
It is costly to fill with gas, and goes too quickly. A full tank lasts only a week, and that's only 'in town' driving.
General comments?
It is a very attractive looking car, but is labeled as a 'retirement car'. And I can see why. It doesn't have any performance that's impressive.
One has to 'bite the bullet', with this car.
