The check engine light came on 3 weeks after I bought the car, and has been on ever since. GM have no idea what's wrong with the car. This car is a nightmare. The above list is just the tip of the iceberg.
General comments?
The Malibu is a nice looking car and is very comfortable.
I'm scared to take this car out, should it break down and cost me more in repair bills. I rent cars to go on long journeys.
This is the worst car I have ever owned in 18 years of motoring. GM have reset the check engine light 4 times, and within 20 miles it has come back on again. They tell me it's OK as long as it doesn't blink? The car is a time bomb.
