1999 Chevrolet Malibu review from North America
"High performance in a small package!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
This car was bought for my mother. Out of the years we have own this car, we have only had one problem out of it. The brake pads. The brakes work great, they just like to skip when applying them hard.
General comments?
All in all I love this car. Being a teenage boy, I sometimes take it out racing and I dog it. This car has taken everything I can throw at it. I have raced numerous Honda Civic and messed them up. Raced a few V-6 Mustangs and beat them off the line and at top end. Also beat a turbo charged Volkswagon Jetta. This car as excellent get up and go. I just wish it had a little more top end and didn't give out at 110 when the governor kicks in. I would also like to see the car have better suspension. I few weeks ago, I was racing a Honda Civic and it almost beat me because I had to slow down a lot for this deep curve, if not for the great getup and go power, I would have lost. Not sure how much horsepower it has, but it's got some serious power and you shouldn't lay down on it unless you konw what your doing!!
