1992 Chevrolet Metro 4 door sedan review from North America
"Spunky commuter car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Left headlight goes off and on at will (wiring short).
Fuel economy fluctuates a little (carburetor problem).
It does burn a little oil, but considering the engine size and odometer reading, that's to be expected.
General comments?
It has decent pick up, especially for a car with 297K on the odo.
The highway fuel economy is very good (6.2l/100 k.m.)
It came with a lovely Alpine stereo system.
It has a comfortable interior with leg room (I'm 6'4").
Under 1000 dollar price.
The ride is quite smooth for a little car and the auto transmission performs well.
