1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe review from North America
"Nostalgic, good power, all around excellent car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Only one thing has gone wrong with it in the 2 years I've owned it. It was on display by the previous owner, and never driven. The wheel bearing in the right front froze up. But it was under warranty.
It has NO rust. The paint is still flawless.
General comments?
I have been in love with the Monte Carlo SS ever since my Dad brought his blue one home brand new in 1984. I wanted one real bad. And when I turned 16 I purchased a Silver 1985 Monte Carlo SS. The car had higher miles, but was dependable. Driven everyday with no problems for 3 years. Then sold it after I bought my low mile 1987 Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe.
The Aero rarely sees snow, it's reliable, fun to drive, a sharp car all around. I love it.
