1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 review from North America
"Cheap car, but very expensive, love it to death, but don't buy one"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Things that go wrong
Transmission weant go figure, put another one in around 90k, is starting to go again at 102k peice of junk tranny, they really needed a different one.
Idles funny.
Alarm won't shut off.
Electrical problems.
Needs Struts.
Brakes not the best.
Power stearing pump weant, fixed going again.
Serpentine Belt.
Timing belt.
Tires will be expensive.
General comments?
Performance wise this beast is pretty light on its feet. This things accelerations is just great, 30 to 60 goes by fast, cops don't like that too much. 60 in a 30.
Tops out at 90, must have a limiter.
Dual exhaust not really dual. Y'ed off that's no fun.
Handeling is great, can take fast corners.
Great in winter, fun on ice.
