1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS review from North America
"Classic styling, great driver"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) was bad when I bought the car, as was the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid.
I replaced them and the car ran fine.
General comments?
The car runs much better with a 406 smallblock motor, although the 305 wasn't bad at all. It just didn't have the power I wanted.
The 406 turned it into the muscle car that it should have been originally.
