1984 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS review from North America
"Sweet looking, fast, reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My right wheel cylinder blew at 95500.
My water pump went at 96000.
Roof liner won't stay up.
General comments?
My 1984 Monte looks good, rides smooth and is very quick for a car that ways 3390. I baught this car for $500 off of some old guy who used it to tow a trailer he had baught a new Blazer so he was looking to get rid of it. When I bought it it was all stock, the first thing I did was put on an Edelbrock air filter this gave it a better tone. Next I put dual Flowmaster exhausts on, this also added to the sound. My next project was to put an Edelbrock Torker intake manafold on and a Holly 600 cfm carb, a GT Grant signature series steering wheel. I put buick grand national rims on it. This car looks like a sleeper, but when it needs to this car moves. Over all this was a great buy and I have verry few problems I love my Monte and I'm going to drive it until I die.
