2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS review from North America
"Great car high maintenance"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Check engine light came on at 600 miles.
Check engine light repeatedly comes on every 2000 miles.
Traction Control system warning light came on at 35000 miles.
Anti-Lock Brake system light came on at 36000 miles.
Traction Control stopped working at 40000 miles.
Anti-Lock Brake system stopped working at 43000 miles.
Replaced brake system twice in a 10000 mile period.
Traction Control system failure do to speed sensors in wheels $500 per sensor to replace.
Speed Sensors failed again at 50000 miles.
General comments?
The car performs great.
Excellent gas mileage.
Cabin holds 5 people comfortably.
