Rattle in passenger side door at 75,000 miles.
Heater control switch at 80,000 mile.
Driver side power window switch at 80,000 miles.
Brakes replaced at 92,000 miles.
Car is plenty fast enough. (Yes, it will do the 140 mph as shown on the speedometer).
Cabin is roomy and comfortable.
Gages easy to read.
Very reliable vehicle, have had no major problems thus far.
I've got a question for you and anyone else in this forum, I'm thinking about a dark red 2000 monte ss with 58k miles. Its perfect condition with no problems at all. I was all set to buy it and then I come in here and I see everyone ragging on them and talking about constant problems. Now I'm sort of spooked about this. What I'm wondering is, will all this problems certainly happen to every monte carlo or are do they happen because of mis treating the car or lack of maintenance? Any help would be great thanks.
