"Expensive maintainace"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I bought the car in April of 96 with 9,ooo miles on it. The car now has 195,000 on it. The blower motor was changed at 10k under warranty. 6 sets of front brakes,1 set of rears, 3 sets of rotors. One water pump, one alterantor, one set of wires, 3 sets of plugs, one belt tensior, 3 serpentine bets, 2 timing belts, struts on all four corners, one power steering hose, brake booster hose, one intake manifold gasket, two ball joints and a tie rod. The transmission went at 139k, 2 1/2 sets of tires. One minor electrical problem. This car has been driven hard in a generally abusive environment. It has been well maintained. The interior is falling apart.

General comments?

This has been a great car. My only real complaint is the difficulty in doing the maintainace on the vehichle. I do my own work, but everything is a major ordeal. I don't think the 3.4 is a lemon... just has heavy maintaince requirements. Few lemon cars, many lemon owners.
