I had to had to buy a new trany it went at 140,000 and I had to put a new starter on it. It was a pain beause you had to lift the motor. I also had to put an O2 senser. Outher wise I love this car.
I have a 1995 monte carlo z34. This car is a good running car It never left me stranded! I will keep this car as long as I can even if I have to get the motor rebuilt or replaced. Monte Carlos have always been a good car!
How can you say it never left you stranded while you had to lift the engine to change the starter. that's no regular maintenance. whoever designed them didn't do his homework. those are one of the worst cars to own, buy your self instead something reliable from japan or europe instead.
I agree I love monte carlos every car has its perks and negs, but either way you go honda or some crap like that ur worse off.
