2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS review from North America
"One of the best performace buys buck for buck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Driver side power window switch burnt out at 50,000 miles.
Interior manual part of the moon roof got stuck in ceiling panel at 69,000 miles.
"Low coolant level" light comes on for about 10 minutes when the car is started (coolant level is fine). most recently at 79,000 miles, but has been comming and going since I've owned the car.
General comments?
Almost maintinence free if it is taken care of properly.
Still quick, but has lost a (very) little pop in the last 3 years.
Extremely comfortable seats, interior is very well laid out.
Car will go well over 120mph.
Will definitly purchase another Monte Carlo SS when this one dies.
