1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Sport Coupe review from North America

This car was given to me by my grandmother in 2005. I also have a 96 z71. All I will ever drive is a Chevy. I had wanted this car since I was old enough to say Monte Carlo. Anyways, there isn't much wrong with this car. The engine has to turn over a few times before it starts. It usually smokes when cranked up for the first time in a few days (I alternate between vehicles). The engine idols hard, so when you put it in gear the car lunges. The muffler is busted so the car is sounding loud right now. That's basically it and those are minute things that I need to have fixed.

The car is almost 22 years old and runs like a new corvette. It is comfortable and fun to drive. It is also still very fast. The steering is so smooth. The car just glides down the twists and turns of the road. It does need a paint job though and is getting one soon. The chrome molding does need to be replaced to revive its youthful image. The car turns, stops, accelerates on a dime and gets a whopping 22mpg. Who could ask for a more stylish, sweet-driving automobile.
