1972 Chevrolet Nova 4 door sedan review from North America

Replaced the plugs, tires, battery, belts, wipers.

I had been wanting the car for a year before I finally got it. It was my neighbors car. She was 100 years old when she died. So when it came time to settle the estate, the son asked me if I wanted the car. I took it quickly, and began the task of making it look like new. It needed a new battery and new tires. The azure blue paint was still original. All 4 of the original hubcaps were still on the car, and like new (just like they did when the lady bought the car new in 1972). The interior looked in very good shape, and still does. There were a few dents and a little rust on it, so restoration was very easy.

Once it was repainted its original color, then the new battery was installed. I put 4 new Goodyear tires on it. It looks like it did back in 1972.

Last week, I brought the car around the show the son the car, and he cried. I took him for a ride in it, and it brought lots of memories. I can still picture the lady driving the car.

I love this car. It is kept in the garage all the time. I love these versions of the Nova, and plan on keeping this one forever. It runs beautifully, and cruises the interstate even better. People stare at this car all the time. When they see how many miles are on it, they're in shock. They think that the car has well over 100,000 miles on it.
