2002 Chevrolet S-10 LS review from North America
"Don't buy American; I lost all respect for Chevy"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I've had to replace the front grille because the stock one faded to a cream plastic color.
Then I had to replace the fan clutch (37,000 miles), transmission (50,000), A/C system (51,000), 3rd door handle twice (20,000, 54,000), battery and alternator.
All of these things have been replaced and the truck barely has 55,000 miles on it... piece of crap!
General comments?
Built poorly by a company I used to have respect for. Needless to say, I will never ever buy a vehicle from an American company again. The warranties expire to quickly, and too many things break. You can buy American if you want, but you will be paying for it over and over again.
