1993 Chevrolet S-10 review from North America
"A wonderful small truck!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The Catalytic converter died just after I bought it; $20 to straight-pipe it.
There wasn't a PCV valve in it when I bought it, and I'm not sure if it needs one, but it was a $3 part.
General comments?
It's the first car I've bought, the other one was a first car given to me by my father. It handles really well except in the winter, when I have to put 200 lbs of sand on the axle.
The cabin in smaller than the car I used to drive, and there is no AC.
It runs beautifully, especially for a truck that is that old. It even handles all the Michigan potholes.
It gets somewhere between 20 & 23 MPG.
The body is almost rust free, and there are no major defects in the truck. The one thing I wish my model had is 4WD.
