1999 Chevrolet S-10 ZR2 review from North America
"Never again"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Since I have had it at 80,000 miles:
- Ball joints and wheel bearings went
- Front tires continue to wear ahead of rear
- Have been through 2 alternators and 3 batteries
- Air Conditioner went at about 120,000
- Tailgate hinges broke off after a little use, loading and unloading a 4 wheeler
- Lack of power - too much undercarriage for the small size S-10
- After complete stop, a little delay before she picks up.
- Power windows randomly stop working
- Get about 13-15 MPG... maybe
PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A ZR2. GO WITH A TOYOTA TRUCK... SAVE YOURSELF THE MONEY.
General comments?
- Looks pretty cool with the high-rider affect
- Great truck if you work in a garage.
