1989 Chevrolet S-10 Ext review from North America
"Fine truck, but tricky motor and clutch"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I know the owner before me had to replace the clutch and motor at 135,000.
No air conditioning.
Has a cracked windshield and the washer fluid leaks out of the reservoir.
Drive shaft got destroyed, and got stuck after driving an hour.
The engine and transmission are always making weird sounds and noises, even though they were recently replaced.
The 2.8 GM engines are probably junk.
I better get rid of this truck soon before it gives me more trouble.
General comments?
I like the truck, even though it has a bad engine and clutch.
It gets me to where I have to go.
I like the way this truck was made, however other people think different.
I will always remember this truck because this is my first car with a manual transmission.
It still runs and moves.
I will never get another S-10 made this year, but I will get a newer one.
