2001 Chevrolet S-10 LS review from North America
"Great truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A/C compressor went out at 30000 miles. (under warranty)
Replaced plastic 3rd door handle three times. (finally put a stainless steel handle on)
General comments?
Overall a great truck. Ride is very comfortable and it's a 4x4. Good handling and very reliable. Can handle pulling a load reasonably well, like a smaller farm tractor on a trailer. Gas mileage is around 18 - 20 MPG, not so good for a small truck. Full size gets this or close. 3rd door handle is/was plastic. They break easily and cost $30 to replace. I installed a new stainless steel handle for $25. Nice large side mirrors. Worth the money I paid.
