1999 Chevrolet S-10 LS ZR-2 review from North America
"One tough little piece of machinery"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Fuel pump quit 2 weeks after I bought the truck.
Both door panels cracked, 3rd door handle shattered.
Radiator exploded.
Engine blew up at 152,000 miles.
Master brake cylinder exploded.
Catalytic converter fell off.
General comments?
Despite everything that happened... I still love this truck. I've put it through absolute hell, things that would destroy other trucks in a day. It is excellent offroad and on the highway.
I'm sure everything that went wrong with this truck is probably my fault for treating it so badly. To give you an idea of how tough these trucks are, I'll tell you that the truck made it 3 miles farther down the road running on 2 cylinders after the motor blew.
