1985 Chevrolet S-10 Long Bed review from North America

I have had to replace the exhaust, of which was no simple task because almost all of the bolts were way beyond rusted.

I had to replace the points, distributor cap, plugs, and wires.

I had to replace the water pump, and main water pump seal.

I had to replace the fan belts.

This truck is very fast for a pickup-truck with a 6' bed, and a four cylinder 2.5 liter Tech IV. It will leave a 30 foot burn out if you rev the engine up to 3,000 RPMs and dump the clutch. That's not too bad seeing as how the engine has nearly 200,000 miles on it.

The steering wheel is a little low for my liking, it's like trying to fit a 6'1" tall man into a popcorn clown truck.

The truck bed squeaks a little bit, but that's easily fixed, and it's not a problem of GMs. It's just an old truck.

Nearly all of the weather seals are missing in this truck, I'm not sure if they rotted out, and the original owner just ripped them out, or if they just fell off.

This truck is very peppy on the freeway, mainly because third gear will push the truck (and accelerate) all the way to 65 before you have shift to fourth. When you shift into fourth gear, it's a very smooth riding truck, with excellent engine feedback.
