1995 Chevrolet S-10 LS Ext. Cab review from North America
"I drove it to work, got what I paid for"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
2.2 L Head-gasket leaks water.
Windshield wiper circuit board.
U-joints
Drives Seat foam gone, seat hinge ate holes in my left hand back pocket.
Input bearing in transmission when out.
Changed Clutch at 110,000, has been eating throw-out bearing every 30,000 since then, now they have changed to platic throw-out bearing, that will never work.
General comments?
It has been a good truck, but had I not been a mechanic in my fore more life, it could have put me in the poor house. The engine and Transmission in my 1988 where much more suited for a small truck. My wife 1995 Caviler with the 2.2L had the same head gasket leak, dealership paid for her new head-gasket, but won't pay for the S-10, same engine, same problem, people at GM are idiots.
