1999 Chevrolet S-10 LS review from North America
"Low performance Ripoff"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I bought my Chevy because it had better torque than its Japanese counterparts, but this was only at the sacrifice of quality. The first thing was a faulty AC Delco battery, which was replaced. At 44,000 miles my truck needed a new clutch and transmission. Recently, I replaced: the leaking water pump, faulty alternator, clutch master cylinder and slave, and leaking valve gaskets. This truck, built off the s-10 Blazer platform, is the worst vehicle I have ever owned-and my check engine light just came on recently after following Chevy's service manual booklet-what a joke!
General comments?
Don't buy this vehicle in any condition, you will regret it later.
The interior is moderately manufactured, but like many others my seat handles came clean off twice!
