1991 Chevrolet S-10 Tahoe review from North America
"Like a rock- drives like a brick"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Paint is a joke- flaking off all over and the body is starting to rust through rather badly.
General comments?
This is easily the most basic and uncomfortable car I've ever driven, but for short trips it's actually quite fun.
Great for hauling stuff around. Handles every load with ease.
Manual transmission is unrefined and a killer for long periods of in-town driving.
Handling is terrible with no load, but this is probably true of most pick-ups.
Dash/gauges are horrible and cheap feeling.
Power steering is excellent!
V6 is quite pokey once it gets going in 3rd & 4th gear. Seems like a solid, reliable engine.
