"Compared to the 1988 S10, I am very disappointed in my 2002 S10"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Wind noise drivers side door hinge cracked

3rd door handle broke 6 times in first 2 yrs

drivers door pins replaced

fan resistor replaced

ABS engaging all the time

front brakes fixed

blower motor not working

u-joints replaced

clutch fan replaced.

gas gage has problems.

General comments?

I love my truck, but so many things have gone wrong.

Said I'd never buy a new vehicle, never should have.

There are some situations when no gear seems to be the right gear.

Cuts out at 155km/h, which freaked me right out the first time it happened.

No power, pick up not so great, my 1988 S10 that I bought in 1999 had more power than this.

You only have a 4 cylinder of course you can't expect great performance out of it.

Only a 4 cylinder?

I had a 320hp 4 cylinder Eagle Talon.

It does 11 sec 1/4mi. now with it's new owner.

Some 4 cylinder cars/trucks were made for performance.

Cheers :) )

My 2002 v6 has 180hp and it's stock. There you go. It would blow your doors off, just like it has too many stock imports. My advice would be to get a v6 model, then you'll change your mind.

Basicly, your looking at simple numbers here.

4 Cylinders VS 6 Cyliders.

2 more to power a vehicle will do it much more in the long run than any "turbo charged" or noss (sP) powered imports.

I personally cannot stand little 4 cylider cars buzzing by really loud, but moving slower than my v6 10 truck is doing, and I'm on cruse control chillin. ha!

Bigger is better my man. that is, for power!
