1993 Chevrolet S-10 TAHOE review from North America
"A very dependable and economical little truck."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water pump went out shortly after buying the truck, but was an easy and inexpensive repair. At about the same time the radiator developed a leak, I took it to the shop and was advised that it was in my best interest to replace the radiator with a new one, about $300.The heater core started leaking in the passenger side floorboard, this was a little difficult to replace, but inexpensive. (approx.130,000 miles)
Alternator quit working, replaced it. It was also an easy and inexpesive repair. (approx.150,000 miles and $75 to fix)
Paint is really faded and chipping, starting to rust in some places.
General comments?
Great work truck!
Very good on gas! (Approx.20 city/24 hwy.)
Really reliable truck, it has never left me stranded, except when I ran it out of gas, that was my fault though.
Drives and rides very good.
Cab only seats two comfortably (regular cab and manual trans.)
Really a very low maintenance vehicle, other than regular wear and tear.
I am disappointed they no longer build this wonderful truck!
