2002 Chevrolet S-10 LS ZR2 review from North America
"Bitchin' mini-truck, full-size durability"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, when I first started it to drive it off the dealer lot it ran as if it was missing on one cylinder. I think that when they washed it, a spark plug wire got too wet as I could hear the spark itself. When it warmed up, no problems.
General comments?
- Transmission tunnel is rather wide causing my right knee to bend at an unreasonable angle causing long drive discomfort.
- Rattles and wind leaks are omnipresent, as with any s-10, I don't care.
_ Overall lack of horsepower, refined transmission almost makes up for this.
+ Good trail capability for a stock mini-truck.
+ They finally fixed the severely anemic brakes of the s-10. It actually does not scare my wife to drive this thing.
+ Real 8.5" rear axle with a locker that works.
