1998 Chevrolet S-10 zr2 pickup review from North America
"Best truck ever and will make you A front suspension expert"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Seat handles have broke several times.
Ball joints are needing replaced for the second time.
Universal joints are needing replaced for the second time.
Both steering arms have been replaced.
Strange, but brakes are still good and they are factory brakes, but the emergency brake does not work well.
There are lots of strange noises all the time, seems the interior plastic is not secured well.
General comments?
There is no room in the truck I'm 6'2 and skinny and its tight.
Wish there was very good replacement parts for the parts that are wearing out all the time.
Zr2 has very poor front end parts it needs 3/4 ton parts to hold the large tires and off road pressure.
The truck looks great, my favorite off road choice for a stock small Chevy truck.
The new Chevy Colorado Z71 has nothing on the stance and look of the ZR2.
Size for size it has out done everything I have put it against.
The only thing I would ever sell my truck for is if Chevy made there Colorado Z71 lifted more with true wide stance and off road drive train that is better than the ZR2.
