2000 Chevrolet S-10 LS review from North America
"A piece of excrement"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Both Front Door hinges wore out at 25000 miles, but I didn't realize what the problem was until the warranty ran out. Guy at body shop said this is a common problem. Passenger reclining seat handle snapped off. Gasket for the oil filter housing to engine block blew at 36523 miles. Have had a rear window leak since day one. Two starters and two front end brake jobs has to be done every 20,000 miles.
General comments?
I will NEVER buy another Chevy and I have owned 4 of them. Friend of mine works at a GMC plant and the joke is "get them out the door and let the dealer worry about fixing them".
