1997 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab review from North America
"It is very reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
It does fine and all, but after running for at least an hour, it will shift hard from 1st to 2nd if I stop or slow down.
My service engine soon light came on, but after a while it went off. It still shifts hard every now and then. I thought the transmission was going, but when I got on this site and saw everybody with the same truck are having the same problem, it has to be a defect.
