2001 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 review from North America
"Tow master and reliable"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only issues I have had are the power steering pump failed, and the rear spider gears blew, but that gave me a good excuse to get a posi unit!
General comments?
It's a great truck overall, the 4.8 is very capable of towing a fullsize car on a trailer, also the 5 speed tranny and 4.10s help out as well.
Engine and tranny are great, haven't had any real problems, I did some small upgrades and I love it!
The seat is comfy for a truck, and surprisingly it handles well. Also, for being in NY all its life, it is very very solid.
