1991 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab review from North America
"Awesome, reliable everyday driver"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced alternator.
Small amounts of rust.
A/C doesn't work.
Replaced thermostat.
Replaced throttle positioning sensor.
Something small rattles under the dash.
Temperature sending unit replaced.
Uses half a quart of oil per 3000 miles.
Steering column came loose.
General comments?
Awesome truck.
Temp ran up to 260 by my mother for a few minutes (the thermostat) and still runs like new.
Extremely comfortable for me, being tall.
Always been reliable.
I love this truck and would buy another one like it in a heartbeat.
