1994 Chevrolet Silverado Extra Cab review from North America
"Best Goat-Woman Truck EVER!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
It was my dad's since new before I owned it. Three days after I got it the transmission failed for the first time at 192,000 miles!!! The repair place said he'd never seen one last that long. The engine actually failed before the transmission did. My dad also put a giant aluminum radiator in it and a new exhaust system.
General comments?
Now that it's got a rebuilt engine AND tranny, there's no stopping me! Well, it's my main vehicle and all I use it for is taking the kids to the bus stop and hauling hay and grain once a week from town. It's perfect! I couldn't ask for a better truck in the snow, rain, or any weather! And the best part is that I don't have to get out and lock or unlock the hubs. I use 4WD every day to get up my driveway so that's a big time-saver.
