1986 Chevrolet Sprint Plus 5-dr review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Timing belt "retired" at 132,000 miles.
Five-year battery died after nine years of service. Front brake rotors tend to warp easily.
General comments?
Unlike the other Sprint reviewer who suggested these cars won't last (another example of ignorant American prejudice against small cars), mine has gone 141,000 miles and is still going strong. Probably my favorite car, with the exception of the Renault I once owned.
