1987 Chevrolet Sprint 4-Door review from North America
"A great economy car, A pleasure to drive"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only thing that has gone wrong with my vehicle was the AC pulley bracket broke do to someone (Previous Owner) broke bolt in engine block and only held bracket with one bolt then that bolt broke. Other than that car has been perfect no leaks, Just performed routine maintenance like Timing Belt, Drive Belt, water pump, Air filter, Cleaned and Rodded Radiator, New radiator hoses.
General comments?
This car is like the name says sprint is a quick little pocket rocket for only 48hp. My family used to have K Car it had less power then Chevrolet Sprint 3 cylinder and the K Car had a four cylinder. Sprint has gone up hills with ease holding three people.
Very reliable I use my car for work and it starts every time. Just keep up maintenance, My interior was perfect so I tinted the back windows to protect
them. Best of all I only fill my 8 gal gas tank practically once a month for about $10.00. I keep up the exterior by waxing once a month and I cover the car everyday. Sometimes I put on my smoked GTS Headlight Covers. Great little Chevrolet and Suzuki made a great little engine. I Wish K & N made a air filter for 1987-1988.
