"A great economy car, A pleasure to drive"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

The only thing that has gone wrong with my vehicle was the AC pulley bracket broke do to someone (Previous Owner) broke bolt in engine block and only held bracket with one bolt then that bolt broke. Other than that car has been perfect no leaks, Just performed routine maintenance like Timing Belt, Drive Belt, water pump, Air filter, Cleaned and Rodded Radiator, New radiator hoses.

General comments?

This car is like the name says sprint is a quick little pocket rocket for only 48hp. My family used to have K Car it had less power then Chevrolet Sprint 3 cylinder and the K Car had a four cylinder. Sprint has gone up hills with ease holding three people.

Very reliable I use my car for work and it starts every time. Just keep up maintenance, My interior was perfect so I tinted the back windows to protect

them. Best of all I only fill my 8 gal gas tank practically once a month for about $10.00. I keep up the exterior by waxing once a month and I cover the car everyday. Sometimes I put on my smoked GTS Headlight Covers. Great little Chevrolet and Suzuki made a great little engine. I Wish K & N made a air filter for 1987-1988.

I bought my 1987 Sprint 4-door on the last day of 1986. It's now up to 58,300+ miles and both interior and exterior are in excellent condition.

In addition to the normal tires and batteries, the only major repairs have been on the A/C, replacing the catalytic converter and a new muffler (last week).

It gets 47 to 50 miles per gallon -- great in these pricey gas days.

This little Sprint is a reliable, economical, peppy and handy little car -- the best for the money I've ever owned in my 92 years.

Wow, you may have the only Chevy Sprint that has EVER been waxed, let alone been covered.

Covering a Sprint isn't that hard. A large umbrella will do it :)
