2001 Chevrolet Suburban LS review from North America
"It is not worth the mechanical headaches"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Spark plug wire fouled at 3,000 miles.
Headlight electrical system shorted out at 7,000 miles.
Auto door lock system shorted out at 9,000 miles.
Tires wore badly, although serviced regularly. Replaced at 35,000 miles.
The ECM-B fuse burns out every 3 days and stops car dead in its track, possible fuel pump or fuel filter problem, I am told.
General comments?
This vehicle is my first Chevrolet and I will never purchase another one.
It is very comfortable to drive and is a pleasure on long trips.
The passenger assist handles are designed very well and are better than most other cars.
