1996 Chevrolet Tahoe LT review from North America
"A solid truck for anywhere you need to go"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The alternator died at 90,000 miles. It was a cheap easy fix, I did myself in a couple hours.
It has been perfect otherwise.
General comments?
It has ton's of cargo space. 5 people, bikes, and camping gear for a week fit easily.
Decent gas mileage for it's size (it does way almost 6,000 lbs.).
More than enough power to tow a truck on a trailer cross country.
Radio and heater controls are well laid out.
It's not difficult to maneuver in parking lots. It looks bigger than it drives.
