1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LS review from North America
"Nice family vehicle with plenty of room"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced alternator at 50,000 miles.
Leather seats are showing a lot of wear especially on driver's side seat.
Replaced heater hose quick disconnect at intake manifold at 57,000 miles.
I have had the front brakes replaced twice already, and new rotors put on the second time the brakes were replaced.
Since owning the vehicle, the suspension has always felt a little soft.
Vehicle is starting to leak anti-freeze again. My mechanic just informed me that the leak is coming from the rear of the intake manifold. This will set me back $650.00.
General comments?
Overall I have enjoyed the vehicle. It left my family and I stranded only once. This was when the alternator went out.
