1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LT review from North America
"Way to go chevrolet! I would recommend to anyone!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Heated seats are a bit iffy
lately it has started to randomly die for no reason and then will start right back up, or won't start then the next second it will
the doors seem to have a fetish to lose lubrication very quickly, and so they are always really squeaky.
Other than that, nothing, but regalar maintenance!
General comments?
Overall this is a very reliable vehicle, and its also comfy. when I got it I added a K&N filter system and a flowmaster exhaust so it sounds and runs great, except for the dying problem.
The interior is very comfortable with the heated seats, but they are starting to show their wear.
I do not like how the rear windows barely roll down due to the wheelwell cutting into the door, and if I would have known this when I bought it I would have gotten another suburban
the power is very good; its rather quick and light on its feet
it does remarkably well in the mountain trails, notice how I said IN, because it usually ends up in mud, and I have never gotten stuck.
The rear air is very nice for my kids during the summer, but I would rather it be heat also.
The flimsy plastic cup holders are absurd and I am afraid to put a heavy drink in there because I don't want to break them.
I really like this vehicle and I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice and reliable used vehicle, but you can't get it from me because I am never selling it!
