2002 Chevrolet TrailBlazer LTZ review from North America
"Don't buy American any more, and I never thought I would say that"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Stabilizer bar replaced before I even picked it up new.
Rear tail lights went out within a year (both).
Oil pan gasket replaced ($500.00).
Rear view mirrors won't return to saved position.
4 new electronic modules replaced, one under warranty, ($1,400.00 cost to me).
Shocks gone at 59,000 miles.
Fan clutch replaced at 61,000 miles ($900.00).
4 wheel drive switch and module went out at 44,000 miles ($500.00).
General comments?
First, the dealers charge 90/$100.00 just to look at your car.
Service charges labor/material are out of sight.
General Motors and Chrysler are off my purchase list.
I think I have bought my last American made car. Too many problems.
The price of new cars is out of control when combined with the repair costs to own one after the warranty runs out.
Junk, junk, junk represents American auto makers.
